Fun Facts regarding "Midnight Lightning Bolt" (4/16-18/11)

* Expert, Hard and Medium were written overnight, 4/16-17, 2011.

* Easy and Novice were written overnight, 4/17-18.

* This simfile's two major selling points are its tempo stops (more than most
of my other stop-intensive simfiles, but not near as many as "Silikon") and
its roll placement. Most of the tempo stops are pretty easy to play through
on a first run, though some are tricky and will take a few tries to get
down-pat. (The file plays more like "Ants" than "Silikon," what with few
of the tempo stops involving freakish speed changes; in other words, just
reading the chart normally as though it had no stops works for about 95% of
  the chart.)

* Due to its innate need for tempo stops, in a move I don't normally make,
Expert was written first (followed by Hard, Medium, Easy, and Novice).

* Expert, thanks to having to figure out the stop placements, took 2 1/2 hours
  to chart.

* Expert was written in its entirety in one sitting. (I usually do that with
anything requiring stops; otherwise, I can lose my train of thought.)

* Expert/Hard/Medium were appropriately written on a stormy night.

* Expert was completed at 12:30 AM (half an hour past midnight).

* Hard is meant to be a lot of fun for a 9-footer; the necessary 16th notes
were placed into easily-followed patterns for that reason.

* Medium and Easy are relatively roll-heavy, owing to the song's speedy nature;
  even Novice has some rolls.

* Medium is friendly with the tempo stops, not forcing you to do too much
out of the ordinary; Easy and Novice mostly just use holds or rolls through
them or even have no notes there at all in some cases.
